Course Description

Target Audience

This course is designed for individuals who have a specific responsibility in the workplace to provide first aid in a range of emergency situations. It’s also an excellent introduction to basic first aid knowledge and skills that can pave the way for additional first aid qualifications.

Purpose and Objectives:

The Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is in line with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, which relate to First Aid at work. The main goal of the course is to equip participants with the knowledge, understanding, and skills required to manage various emergencies that require first aid in the workplace.

Total Qualification Time (TQT) and Guided Learning Hours (GLH):

The Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification has a credit value of 1. It requires 6 guided learning hours (GLH), and the total qualification time (TQT) is 7.
